i need a free program for my gps?

i have gps that transmits nmea data through com4. I am able to use this in google earth properly but i don’t have a mobile internet connection. I don’t want to cache the maps from google earth. all i need is a free program that uses my gps data on maps in at least arizona.(dont make comments about me being lazy and not using google. i spent 9 and a half hours ,no im not lying, looking in google) please help me.

      Does this need to work in real time or on logged data?
      If you log the nmea data then upload it to http://www.h-schmidt.net/NMEA/ that site will convert it to google earth format.
      Or if you want to use a program not a web page then take a look at http://www.claudegps.altervista.org/?page_id=11&lang=en-us

      (Total time to find both, 20 seconds on google ;-)

      If you need to do it in real time then that’s both easier and harder. Google earth has the option to take a real time nmea input (tools->gps) but needs an internet connection to work. You could set it’s cache size to something huge, view the area you want with an internet connection and then disconnect the internet. That may work.
